Air Taurus Limited Participates in Joint Effort with Wings for Aid to Expand Operational Capacity for Humanitarian Missions in Madagascar.

Air Taurus is proud to announce our collaborative efforts with Wings for Aid, aimed at expanding humanitarian logistics capabilities in remote and underserved regions.

Together, we are building additional MiniFreighter capacity at Wings for Aid’s operational base in Madagascar. This hands-on training and operational development support the strategic deployment of cargo delivery systems purpose-built for humanitarian missions, particularly where conventional infrastructure is lacking or access is severely constrained.

“We have welcomed our experienced friends from Air Taurus at our operating base in Madagascar. In a joint effort, we build additional capacity to operate more MiniFreighters for humanitarian organisations,” said Barry Koperberg, Founder of Wings for Aid.

The Air Taurus team, composed of experienced flight operations specialist and UAS pilot, is currently engaged in aircraft familiarisation, field-based exercises, and systems integration with the Wings for Aid platform. These activities are designed to enhance readiness for future missions in geographically diverse and logistically challenging environments.

“We are excited to work side by side with Wings for Aid in Madagascar,” said John Morris, Director of Flight Operations at Air Taurus. “This collaboration reflects our shared mission to scale up reliable last-mile delivery using aircraft specifically designed to serve humanitarian needs. We see strong potential to bring this model into service across a wide range of operational environments.”

The MiniFreighter aircraft, developed by Wings for Aid, is engineered to provide unmanned cargo delivery with precision drop capabilities. It offers humanitarian organisations a scalable and cost-effective alternative to traditional supply chain routes, reaching vulnerable populations in isolated and crisis-affected areas.

This initiative forms part of Air Taurus’s broader vision to deploy both conventional aircraft and advanced unmanned platforms in support of emergency relief, healthcare logistics, and humanitarian response missions worldwide.
